Our Deutscher Schäferhund here in Sweden loves winter and hates warm weather (he just wants to swim in summer to cool down).
In winter we sometimes have 1 meter of snow and he buries his head in the snow for fun and then pops up, jumps around a bit more and then dives head on into the snow again.
He looks really stupid when he does it. I was thinking of uploading some videos with him. We exercise it 6 hours a day so he is in awesome shape. He is extremely protective of us too.

I used to have a German Shepherd, too! She would always stick her head into the snowbanks and when she pulled her head back out, her face was completely white! It was funny to see.

lol, my neborehs german sheperd eats snow too!!! but he eats it every time i make a snow ball and im at my nebors place. im making extra snow balls to conter attack, and the next thing i know, there gone! so i go to the safe ones and he follows me and eats those too!!! lol, but its ok. we enjoy it when she does somthing pleasent.(lol) i really ike it when she plays with us!!! its really fun. espellay in winter. its really really really really fun! and i really like it when we play ball
