Do you think it’s funny my dog sleeps in the bathroom?
We have tile in the bathroom he sleeps in so it gets cool at night. Do you think it’s funny and does your dog do it too?
He chooses to sleep there.

Not really that funny – do you mean he actually chooses to sleep there or is he put there?
My dog sleeps in the laundry, but we have to tie her up or she wanders around the place eating our washing.
Yes, my dogs will sleep in the bathroom or in the kitchen so they can lay on the cool tile, belly flat down & legs frogged out behind.
It seems like a very practical thing for a dog to do especially since it is cool at night if you live in a place with a warm climate.

Seriously – a dog will, given the opportunity, always find the most comfortable place to sleep so fireplace in Winter, cold tiles, wherever they are, in Summer. Pretty sensible eh.
No my dog doesn’t but my cat does. He thinks the water is fresher in the toilet rather than out of his water dish. True story. It is funny to watch him climb half way in to drink.
It’s a very little bit funny cause since when did he sleep in the bathroom?And my dog does’t sleep in the bathroom.If the tiles are smooth,it will get really cold in the night,but if the tiles are rough,it won’t be that cold. We let our inside when it rains outside and he sleeps in the living room and our tiles in the living room are rough and he only goes in the bathroom when he is thirsty and there is no water in his bowl outside or nobody offers him(my dog) a drink.
I think you should close the door of the bathroom cause the tiles become cold in the night and your dog can catch cold. If your dog still insists to sleep in the bathroom, better put an old blanket and let him sleep on the blanket or teach him to sleep on that than the tiles or if you don’t want him to sleep on the blanket, you can use a thick pile of newspaper maybe at least 4/5 layers of newspaper.

Yes, it is funny as in funny-ha ha, not funny-strange. It really isn’t strange or out of the ordinary. You answered it yourself: he sleeps there because it is cool (and comfortable).
