does your dog know any funny commands?
I used to have a dog who LOVED to chase and catch flies. no matter where she was in the house, if we yelled “sam a fly!” she would come running and look to see where we were pointing so she could have at it! it was very funny not to mention helpful! what interesting commands do your dogs know?

“go take a drink” and he drinks on command
mine looks for the “red dot”.. which is the laser pointer LOL
GO GET BUDDY and she brings us her stuffed frog.

When we say “Rudy, where’s your hippo?” He looks around and then goes and finds his stuffed hippo.
“Sophie, Marshmallow!” Which means Sophie come and get your treat. It’s the only thing that makes her come in from the back yard when she’s sniffing and doesn’t want to come in “Sophie, Come” doesn’t work, “Marshmallow” works like a charm.
I don’t think is a “command”, but with one of our dogs, if you sing the theme song from Jaws, she goes absolutely NUTS! It is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. We do agility, and my husband runs her. She’ll be sitting quietly on the line, waiting to start. And, I can always tell he’s done the “Jaws” theme song because she suddenly becomes obsessed! I love it! Couldn’t have trained it if we wanted to!
Mine can “whisper” and when i pretend to shoot her and say “bang” she falls over.
When my little Yorkie is getting in my face, literally, and driving me crazy I tell him to go lie down in a very stern voice he jumps up on my hubby’s lap and then just sits there and stares at me. That also tends to drive me a bit crazy.
my dog is such a spaz half the time i’m lucky he learned, sit, lydown, shake and roll over. he can kinda stay, but it just depends on his mood. my parents have tried to get him to hold things in his mouth and take it to someone, but he just wants to play with it or chew it! lol.
when i say slap me five my dog gives me a high five and when i say Bye he comes he does the opposite its funny

my brother thought her one
where he taps a chair and she sits up on it
and then he says “play” and shell put her paws on our piano and if you keep telling her “play” she’ll keep hitting the keys

Well..if I yell “MOTH!” my cat will run in and look frantic and try to find a moth lol…
(I realize this is the dog section..)
Though my dog certainly loves chasing flies, his favorite is shake. Even if your hand is just going towards the floor, as soon as it hits his paw level, he’s on it. He also does high fives. Have him lay down, and ask for high fives, and he’ll kick his front legs until he hits your hands.
Also, my dog is a 7 year old Bassador.
He’s gone now. But when you asked my dog “Did you toot?” He would grin
My dog fakes a sneeze when I say bless you.
If you point at the ceiling to my friend’s dog (Muffin), she sits down. If you raise your arm above your head, she lays down. If you put your palm infront of her, she’ll ‘high five’ & If you say ‘sss’ she’ll bark (she’s expecting you to say ‘speak’).
She can also do ‘go find’ – my friend hide her treat, then tells her to find it.. she’ll spend ages doing this!
The worst thing is she’s trained to pull people’s socks off! My friend just touches my foot & she goes crazy. Last time i was there my toes got covered in bruises cause she couldn’t get hold of my sock! (you can sit on your feet and she’ll still try to get them).
When it’s her dinner time, my friend speaks slowly and says ‘Do….. you…. (at this time, muffin has jumped off the bed and her ears are pricked) … want…. your…. di.. (by that time she’s run off into the kitchen waiting by her dish).
when my dog is in trouble or sometimes wants a treat he’ll start swimming. Hes A FAT POM and hell sit on is butt and start swimming or begging whichever . Its funny as hell though XD

If you hold my Maltese and say swim, he’ll paddle with all fours. And he’ll keep doing it until you put him down. And if he’s standing or sitting, and you say swim, he’ll start digging at the carpet in a slow motion, like he’s swimming.
