What are your most recent funny dog moments?
today i had yet another funny dog moment with my dog. my brother sprained his ankle playing softball today and he came home, took his cleats off, and put them on the floor next to the chair and my dog came up and started sniffing the outside of them then moved to his nose all the way inside the shoe, and sniffed, he jumped about 2 feet in the air and then ran away and sneezed. i laughed for about 5 minutes with this one, so what recent funny dog moments have you had?

Hehe, Thats really funny! I can picture it happening! I don’t own a dog, but my neighbour owns one and their dog once sat in front of the mirror for 4 hours and was just barking at itself! It’s a little fluffy white dog named Sushi. It barks at huge dogs all the time and they just ignore it
My dog likes to pick up pens and hold them in her mouth. She’ll come up to me like–see I have a pen in my mouth. She likes to trade pens for treats
My dog hates it when i blow in her face so i was bored and i blew softly…so then she started rolling all over the bed and then she rolled into the crack and got stuck…i was laughing and i got her out and she walked away and stays away from that crack..
Watching my 2 year old babble talk with Bruno, the mastiff from upstairs. Aedan normally does this anyways in his room. Well Bruno is pretty vocal himself so for 15 minuted Aedan is walking around Bruno and babble talking when he would stop and lay down against him Bruno would start up muttering and so forth, the both of them going back and forth made me wish i had my camera with me at the time.
Bruno is just ‘nodding’ along and putting his 2 cents in even won a few points because at one moment Aedan stomped his foot and threw his hands up like what are you talking about.
i came inside 1 day and i saw my 2 dogs [i had music on in the house]
my 2 labs were hoping around the room dancing when i came in they stopped and i always wondered what they did when i was gone i laghed for hours
My boy loves to pull tissues out of the box and rip them up. I walked down the hall with my other dog and she started growling at something in the living room. Here was my lad, with tissue box stuck on his head as he put it in the box to reach the last tissues and couldnt get it off again. I had to go get the video camera before I could help him get it off . hehehehehe. Priceless!
Yesterday my german shepherd had a photo shot for a magazine. Instead of behaving he decided to roll over on his back with legs stick up and looking like a goof. He continued this behavior all through the shoot. When all the equipment was packed away. He climbed a small hill and started poising and barking. Those pictures on the hill would have been beautiful. He just didn’t feel like a photo shoot.
My dog was outside a few weeks ago and it was very hot. All of a sudden I heard this noise and turned around to see the dog sitting in the birdbath.
hahah i have a poster in my room of someone and my dog was sitting on the ground and looked up at it a FLEW in the air and started freaking out and barking at it! hahahaha

I have a sliding patio door with both a glass and screen door on it. I usually leave the screen door open and just close the glass.
A couple weeks ago, it wasn’t too hot out, and we were in a tornado watch, so I left the glass open and closed the screen so the dog couldn’t get out, but I could hear if the sirens went off. When I went to bed that night, I left the screen closed and closed the glass as well, so both doors were closed.
The next day, I was going to let the dog go out on the patio, and as soon as I opened the glass door, she ran straight into the screen door without even looking! It was quite funny to see

ok well earlier today i had ppl over and i had 2 lock up my 3 dogs in the laundry room. i didnt want to close the door so i put up this thing that ppl use for babies and little kids to stay away from leaving a certain room…well i had to adjust it so the thing would stand a little above the ground b-cuz my big dog jumps over it…so freddy was being sooo impacient and managed to get out of the laundry from below the thing [[wutever its called]] so he ran straight to the door and let him out and followed him outside…b4 i knew it he went to pee in a tree and the pee lasted about 1 min. lol yup i started to crack up

Not recent, but a very lovely memory:
I used to take my two St. Bernards cruising in my tiny Honda. People would stop and stare at the huge, happily barking, crammed- like- sardines giants in such a little car.
When we returned home the male would not, just not, want to get out of the car, and no pushing or pulling on my part could get him out. So I would leave the door open and “ignore” him until the heat would force him out.
And it did: when he made sure I wasn’t looking he would dash like mad, twirl like a top in a small pond near the garage, and, DRIPPING wet (St. Bernards do not just drip, they DRIP), beat me in the race to take possession of the car. The female was very sweet and obedient, but I swear on those occasions she rolled on the floor laughing at my frustration.
Lola was poisoned by an evil, evil person. Chilolo died at 14 of a heart attack when chasing a female in heat. May they be waiting for me by the rainbow bridge!
